YSA HAS BEEN AWARDED TWO GRANTS FOR THE 2011-2012 FISCAL YEAR
An unrestricted grant in the amount of $5,125 was received from the Arizona Commission on the Arts. This grant may be used for general operating expenses and will be applied to partially fund YSA’s 2011-2012 Phoenix Symphony concert season. This grant is supported in part by the Arizona Commission on the Arts with funding from the State of Arizona and the National Endowment For The Arts.
A second grant in the amount of $1,476.59 was received from the City of Prescott and the Prescott Area Arts and Humanities Council (PAAHC). This grant may only be used to support a scholarship for a music major attending an accredited institution of higher learning. Applications for this scholarship must be received no later than February 1, 2012. Go to YavapaiSymphony.org for application forms and additional information. This scholarship award will be presented at our final concert on April 22, 2012.
